Donna Gordon works in soft pastel, acrylic, watercolor and mixed media. She paints landscapes, seascapes, boats, animals, and still life subjects.
Intrigued by the coastal light and how it transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary, she paints in an impressionistic version of realistic abstraction.
She also creates jewelry using wire weaving and wrapping. Her pieces are of copper, sterling silver and gold filled wire with stones and beads.
She prefers natural or lab-grown stones. Color and light are themes in both her paintings and jewelry. Being a life-long learner herself, Donna loves to teach others painting and jewelry creation.
